♡ A post to myself

Today was a really good day even if I was alone and it started badly with being late and the rain. But overall, it was really good. I was late because I had to go to cidp first and I came to the office like 10 bottom-drenched and found out that the people I had to see today to clear all my outstanding queries did not came in. I was so bummed out about that, I think I might have made a face to the person who told me about it. But yeah, at least I had that other thing to do which I don't like because it is so lengthy and it totally seemed never-ending to me. The cool thing though was that I had the meeting room all to myself and I had this huge table and I had all my files spread out open and still was not overwhelmed. Yeah, I came in alone today because the girls are on exam break (I'm going soon too). I have two more days left there, I'm sad to leave, I really loved working there since it is close to home with a mall nearby, the water dispenser is right next to the meeting room, the people(most) are pretty cool and it is pretty there. And when they were putting up Christmas decoration today when I left, right at that moment, I had that thought "I wished I worked there". Yeah I totally wished I worked there. Like permanently. I guess I will come back next year around that time again. I say pretty a lot I know. This two month went by so quickly, I did not even realise it. I'll have an alone day again this coming Monday and then Tuesday is going to be super stressful because it's my last day before exam break and I still have a lot pending. I don't know if I'll be going back there after my exams, I don't think so. I will probably know by Tuesday which will probably be no because our deadline for that job was early December, so yeah, I'll probably have to go back to our office. This is getting sad.

I won't have anymore these stupid smiles on my face again. Only my bf would know what this means. haha. No only my bf will understand this post. I actually like it there, people smiles at you, you smile back, and everybody smile at each other, and you smile all day and say good morning all day because there is a lot of staff coming and going along the corridors. It happened that I said good morning to someone twice in the day, the second time was without thinking because I had stuff on my mind. haha. Hopefully, next year I'll be back and it's going to be great. I'm gonna miss this environment. I love the environment. I mean workplace. It is so nice and I had a nice office room today. Oh Monday is going to look so pretty with the decorations!!! I'm so excited about that. This is why I'm so sad to go and because of the people too. Let me say goodbye. Bye bye pretty office, people and meeting room. I'll see you next year maybe hopefully.

♡ Random rant

Hi whoever is reading me right now. The girls and I went to lunch at Jumbo today, we got pizza and while waiting for our order, we wandered around the mall into this shop with tons of accessories and beauty stuff but I felt really not interested into these products since to me, all of them were fake, like fake silver plated accessories that you can get way cheaper online, or fake cosmetics which are bad for your skin and I could not even trust that their constance carroll nail polish were genuine or fake so I did not buy anything though I really want nail polishes. If I was younger, this boutique would have been heaven to me, I did not know about online shopping, fake products, I was just ignorant and simply attracted to shiny things. I don't know what is up with me lately or maybe this year. I can't buy anything, mostly makeup and beauty related things here in stores because in my head, I'm thinking it could be fake or there's no brand on it, so can't buy it or I could get it cheaper online. So, I end up with nothing. I think I hate shopping. But I love online shopping. Or not. I just wasted almost an hour on Asos choosing nail polishes thinking I could fool them in shipping these to me because there was no error messages when I added them to my cart only that when I had to pay, I got that freaking error message. I am so sad that Asos would ship nail polishes only to some countries and not to Mauritius. Anyways, after work, I got a Bourjois 1 second nail polish in Beige Distinction because I love their fan brush so much and it was the only color I would wear often or I thought so. I just tried and I kind of hate the color, I don't know, I'm just not in love with it. I want more nail polishes. Or not. I just want a lot of pretty things. I'm depressed. Tomorrow is going to be another long freaking day and Friday will be worse because I will be working on my own which means a lot of work and stress.

By the way, sigmabeauty.com is doing their black friday on the 28.11.13 and they will be doing free worldwide shipping, so check them out and stock up on your favorite brushes. I'm definitely getting a backup of the F80, and maybe get one to do a giveaway and maybe get another brush, I don't know. I'm being too greedy now. What is your favorite sigma brush that you use everyday? Even if I have the Mr. Bunny kit, I just end up not using them on a daily basis, I just use my F80 and the blush brush from the kit. Yeah, I think I'll only buy like there F80, a backup for myself, one to give as present and one for a blog giveaway. I think that's my black friday plan. Don't miss it, you'll regret it, there's is a code for the free shipping thing, just google it.

That's all for tonight, I need to get up and work out because I freaking ate half of the Pringles tube and I had a generous dinner and I'm so fat and I'm so depressed and if I stay, I'm going to give in and buy useless stuff that I found pretty but I don't really need rather than saving up for what I really really want to which are the Marc by Marc Jacobs Amy gold bracelet watch and the Rebecca Minkoff diamond quilt mini affair bag. So I should not shop. Thou should not stop or eat. haha I'm going to work out. Even if it is already 11 15 pm.

♡ Clearasil Utra Rapid Action Cleanser

I loved the Clearasil Daily Clear Cleanser, it smells awesomely good and fresh and has salicylic acid in it. So I thought I would get the stronger version which is this one called Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action cleanser but I hate the scent of this one, it is so strong and in your face but it's okay, atleast it helps with my acne and it does not dry out my face. That's is all I've got say about it. Oh and yeah I got it off echemist.com for £5.39. If you are thinking about which one of the two to get, the Daily clear or the Ultra, I would recommend the Daily Clear one because it smells better and I think both work the same way - since I've noticed no difference with this one.

♡ Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion

I got it off feelunique for £6.05, it is like regular body lotion - it's white except that your skin turn into a brown color (with hint of orange) overnight which is soooo pretty. It's smell very artificially apricot, smells really good BUT overnight, gosh that smell that it turns into, it is so gross and stuck with me like for 2-3 days. It is the only thing that bothers me about this product plus I think it is important to use a tanning mitt with it because I used it twice, and both times I ended up with streaky lines, and also because the lotion is white, it's hard to know what area you've missed. So yeah, you get the idea, streaky lines + large still white area + gross smell = 2-3 days of awkwardness and covered legs.

Bottom line, I don't like this product. It makes me smell really bad - an odour similar to henna. Do you know henna? I hate the smell of henna by the way, that's the only reason I never played with henna during college years, haha I love the idea of drawing fake tattoos with henna but the smell of it always put me off. Anyways, for only £6.05 for 400ml is a pretty good deal but for me, it was just a waste of money. I've used this twice, and it's like 98% still full. I don't know what to do with this. Do you fake tan? Doesn't the smell annoys you? What do you do about it? Share your tips with me, pretty please:)

And do you know a tanning product that does not smell at all?

♡ Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation

"For flawless 16-hour coverage with no mask-like effect. Instantly, skin irregularities are perfectly concealed, without leaving demarcation lines or cakiness. The complexion is even and radiant; the skin is supple and comfortable."

I was looking for new foundation - not that I don't like Missha BB cream anymore but I wanted to try a new one and I found The Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation on echemist for £15.20. I read tons of reviews and people were saying that it was really good for people with acne and blemishes because it is full coverage. I received it after approximately two weeks after ordering it. I was pretty surprised with how fast it came. Thanks echemist. It is very pigmented, I would say it gives medium to full coverage. I found the texture pretty liquidy and the color is a perfect match for me - I got Nude.

The first time I tried it, my face looked really cakey, I didn't like the texture and how it felt on my skin, I even hated the weird smell. I've been using it for almost a week and I'm starting to like it. The trick to it is to not to use too much. A small dot-tear drop size I guess is more than enough and I don't even mind the smell anymore though I still feel it kinda there on my skin.

Good points:
Good coverage
Applies easily with a foundation brush
Decent price for a foundation
Perfect match for my skin (a makeup said that nude suits most asians)
Less transfer to phone - compared to the Missha BB cream
Do last all day on me - I do use primer underneath though

Bad points:
Feels heavy on my skin
Enhances dry spots
Make me feel oily

Overall, I'm liking this foundation right now, my only issue is just that it feels heavy and oily though my face do not look extra oily. It gives me a light to medium coverage, I guess if I use more I'll could achieve full coverage but it will look mask-like and cakey since it would enhance my dry skin.

Thumbs up to this one! It is definitely not going to stay in the back of my makeup drawer because I've been grabbing subconsciously this one everyday.

Updated 18.11.13:
I'm loving this foundation. I think that my skin is getting use to it. I don't feel it heavy on my skin anymore, or oily. Still enhance dry spots but it just means that I've to hydrate my skin more. I definitely recommend it :)

♡ Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment

At some point, this hair oil was so much raved on Youtube and blogs together with the Moroccanoil(which can't be shipped to Mauritius), so I gave in to the craze and got the Macadamia Natural Oil, it retails for £29.95 for a 125ml pump bottle on hqhair.com. Its claims :

"Say hello to soft and manageable hair with Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment. Particularly beneficial for dry and damaged hair, it provides intense nourishment which de-tangles your locks to make them easier to manage. Your hair will be left frizz-free, with a smooth and shiny finish, whilst the UV protectors will also prevent coloured hair from fading and losing its vibrancy. Drying time will also be reduced by 40-50%, minimusing exposure to damaging heat."

What I did was pump twice and apply it on my damp clean hair and that is it. And the next day, I'll woke up and my hair would feel smooth to the touch, really good smelling, and a little frizzy.

Good points:
Smells freakingly awesomely good.
Does help detangle my hair.
Comes with a pump
Make my hair feel smooth

Bad points:
Does not control my frizzy hair completely
Does not make me hair shiny
Relatively expensive
Does not make my hair less dry

I don't think I'm going to repurchase this again, I'll probably get the Moroccanoil one.

♡ Wishlist #13

Oh my god, I swore to myself I would not get another Urban Decay palette again even after Flushed and Naked Basics came out but this one Naked 3, I NEED to have it. It looks really pretty. Apparently, it was already out by mistake in some Sephora in Paris, that is how wheeconfetti got hold of it, I'm so jelly. You can see more pictures and swatches on her blog, go check them out. Anyways, the Naked 3 will be officially out in December, I'll be waiting eagerly for it to come out on HQhair.com and I hope it will show up soon.

♡ Wishlist #12

While writing that title, I remember "oh there's my birthday before Christmas" ohh goody but nobody is going to give what I really really really want. I do a lot of online shopping - not super lot like over 100 pounds each time. But the thing is I feel I never get what I really want. I get stuff that I need and really want because it caught my eye. But the stuff that caught my eye but is not a necessity I can't bring myself to get them because I suck and I've no money and I said but and because like a hundred times already and this phrase is so long and has so many mistakes in it. Don't laugh at me, you can smile - I'll allow it. I had a really long and tiring week, doing overtime everyday to respect my deadline, I'm a little anxious about that - which explains my splurge I did thirty minutes ago, I splurge on sandals. It's not splurge when it's 32 pounds for a pair of brown leather Steve Madden sandal with old style gold spikes, right? It's investment. I've been needing a pair of sandals for so long, I've been eyeing these specific ones for ever but they were always out of stock. When I saw them online and said 'low in stock', I promptly add it to my pretty little empty cart that digs hole in my pockets but fills my heart with warmth and happiness. My point with this post is to show what I want or need or whatever. I want all of them. I think some of the items will be repetitive (see my earlier post) - I can't help it. I like wishlist. They make my stress go away for a while at least. And make me happy. Then make me sad because people won't buy them for me. But then, it's just my to buy list. My never ending to buy list. Can I be famous for making wishlist. Would it be awesome to paid for doing wishlist and people can buy stuff from my wishlist and then I'll get a percentage of that? It would be awesome. AWESOME.

Marc By Marc Jacobs Amy Gold Bracelet Watch

This watch is super beautiful. When I first started looking for the one, I looked at Michael Kors because there were so many pictures of them on tumblr, instagram, everywhere but then I tried on my dad's, they just felt and looked too masculine on me. I just love this one because of the little shiny crystals, it looks so fancy. It have been so much better if there was date on it. But this is my favorite. I don't want to look anymore. This is the one I want. Together with these skinny Cartier bracelets. Lol I've seen pictures. You can't deny it, you love the combination of this watch and these Cartier too!

Yeah, you know what I really really want is the Chanel 3.55 bag. But this one is like the next best thing next to Chanel that I could actually buy in terms of accessibility. Thanks revolveclothing.com for selling genuine brands. I want this bag. It is actually small, a little smaller that I would want. There is a bigger version of this type but it's not available on revolveclothing, no actually there is one but it's like covered with studs and twice as expensive. I don't think I'll like an overdose of studs. I have my hair to cover collar covered all over with studs, I don't think I have enough hair to cover a bag of studs. This one is quilted, full leather, gold chain, two length style, all I want for Christmas is you and all of the items above you.

Ted Baker Taffety T Clasp Leopard Print Purse

I need a purse. A new purse. A leather leopard Ted Barker purse. It's a combination of all I love. Leopard, leather, gold details, a sneak of pink inside, all quality, and super expensive. But I want this one. Anybody interesting in giving me this one for free, you know just for the pleasure of giving *smiles while fluttering my non existent eyelashes*

Dogeared Faith Cross Necklace

I want this one just because it's dainty and gold. I think it's gold plated and the base is silver. I don't know exactly why I want this one. I just feel drawn to it. It could make me look fat. You're asking yourself what's the link there. You can't understand.

And there is this nail polish set from Nails Inc that I really want because it's a gift set of 12 full size nail polish at 70% discount. Blogger is not letting me upload new pictures, I don't freaking know why but whatever, here is the link http://www.hqhair.com/nails-inc-nail-polish-diary-worth-over-138/10833866.html

Whenever I post wishlist, I always insert links from where that item could be bought and shipped to Mauritius. Because I would never do wishlist of items I would never be able to get because I live in Mauritius and people don't know us and people don't want to ship stuff to us. haha

When I click on "new post", I thought I would have to so much items but what happened here? Five? Gosh have I bought everything I want. NOOOOOO. Because these are exclusively what I want the most. And I feel like I'm missing a lot more. Oh yeah, I want diamonds earrings, a white gold cushion cut diamond halo ring, a big house with wooden floors and huge windows with lots of natural light and a matte colored BMW car, a baby like Emilia (SACCONEJOLYs), a pastel pink glitter iphone but with android with a much wanted "return" button, a walk in closet, a decent vanity with lighted mirrors, Chanel bags, Cartier rings and bracelets, oh girl, stop dreaming.

I'm seriously drained and tired. Dreaming is okay right? though it just saddens me that things like that would never happen ever. It's just sad. My god this post is depressing. I've to go to the post office tomorrow, my asos package probably arrived. I'll probably have to pay duties again. I don't like the people at the post office that much - I kind of hate them but I can't say that out loud because it's inappropriate and they won't give me my stuff right? Anyways, have a nice weekend..whoever is reading me. I'm tired. And I want to eat sugary high calorie junk. And then I'll have a little junk in my trunk. That's a quote from KUWTK. I'm a fan. It's my guilty pleasure.
