♡ Something from Tumblr

What you SHOULD say to people dealing with any of these:

Anxiety: This too shall pass, even if that sounds corny and cliche. Your anxiety will subside, you are not dying, you will not die from this, everything is going to be fine. Keep taking deep breaths, try and stay focused.

Depression: You are valid and your emotions are valid. You are a good, strong person, even if you don't feel like you are right now. Things DO get better, and I know you can get through this.

Sexual Orientation: Your body, your life, your bedroom. You choose what you do with it, and I get no say in the matter, because I am not you. I'll respect you no matter what.

Bipolar: The sun also rises. For all your bad days, weeks, or longer -- you also have good ones just beyond the horizon. You know better than anyone what it means to finally hit those "highs" in your life, and I hope that you just keep growing and strengthening yourself through your treatment to extend those happy moments.

Self-harm: This is your body and I'll never pass judgement over you for the things you choose to do with it. However, you should really consider speaking with a counselor about this. Not because you're "bad", but because I just want you to be safe.

Eating disorders: It's okay to eat, you have permission. Eating will not make you fat, ugly, or worthless. Eating will make you strong, healthy, and lively. You deserve to eat, you deserve happiness.

Abuse: What they did was wrong, and you had no consenting part in it. You have no need to feel guilty or shamed, although I understand that may be exactly how you are feeling right now. They're the ones at fault here, and the ball is entirely in your court if you choose to report them for that, which you are rightfully entitled to do.

Suicide: Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. You are valuable and your existence is valuable. There are billions of people on this planet, and even if you think everyone hates you and no one cares, they do and they will. You can find so many friends and loved ones if you just allow yourself the time to look for them. The world turns out to be a beautiful place and you deserve to be alive to see that.

Sexual assault: What they did was vile and disgusting. Yes, you're now left with this horrible, traumatic event to move on from, but your life is not entirely lost. Recovery is possible, and an unfortunately large number of people have to go through that-- but they make it to the other side. So can you, you can do this. You're not dirty, you're not a "slut" or a "whore", you are a human being whose rights were violated. But you are strong, and I know you can move past this in due time.

Multiple Personality Disorder: I'll always love you no matter who you are. I only hope the absolute best for you during your recovery and treatment, and maybe one day I'll be so privileged as to love you as one whole.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: The pain of suddenly reliving horrific events is almost unimaginable for me. Please try and remember that although it feels like it's real and it's happening right now, that it's not. You are okay, you are fine, and you are safe. You are in the present here and now, and that past can't manifest itself again to come and physically hurt you. Everything is just fine, these feelings will pass and you're going to be okay.

Schizophrenia: I am real and I can promise you that. I care. Try and find something grounding for you, an object that you can cling to to help you distinguish between whether or not you're hallucinating. You are not a freak, you are not a monster. You're a human being with rights and emotions who happens to be ill right now.

I came across this on Tumblr yesterday and I 'liked' it thinking that I could need it someday maybe. And tonight, I felt the need to read the one on anxiety again and I found it helpful. So, I thought, I would share these words with you. The author is illusoryacid.tumblr.com. Thank you. I'm definitely keeping this one on my phone.

♡ Ready Or Not

Screencaps from the music video

I spent the day on my laptop today browsing, making new blog posts to be published later on here and I heard a super lovely voice. I HAD to glance at the tv that specific moment, and I saw that a really pretty blond with sharp features, it took me a while to realise who she was - Bridgit Mendler. If you watch Disney Channel, you would recognise her from Good Luck Charlie. I was surprised, she's so different. My little cousin could not believe that was the same girl. She's the one watching tv, and all of a sudden this amazing voice emerged - a music video. Beautiful. Bridgit seems so different, I guess that when you're used to watch someone in a series for a reasonable time, you get used to see her in a specific girl next door style. But she has her own style, I loved her makeup too. She's so perfect. I think I have a girl crush AND a voice crush and I love her music style. I still can't believe that she's the one singing these songs. Let me share some of her songs with you. I'm actually listening to "I was a fool" while writing this post, it just started playing thrice already - yeah, I'm a slow writer or rather a slow thinker. Anyways, here are the links of some of her because Youtube won't allow playback on the videos from her Youtube Channel BridgitMendlerVEVO:

♡ I love tea

Mauritian Tea

I have not always been a fan of tea. I actually hated tea since childhood. My family usually drank was Chinese tea which I found too strong in taste and smell. After a few years, I learned about the health benefits of tea (just google it), I looked for one that I could drink. After multiple failed purchases, I found one that I really really love because it has a subtle taste and smell - I'm talking about the Chartreuse Thé Vert Classic amincissant et diurétique. I drank almost everyday. But it's a little more pricey that other tea available on the market, so I looked for more and I chose Bois Cheri Thé Vert Au Jasmin, I admit that I had a hard time adjusting to this taste because it is so different and had a stronger taste but over time, I grew to like it . As for the third one, I came across it during cny at the hotel, they were serving it for breakfast and I loved it. It is called the Corson Golden Pekoe. I love it a lot.

My top 3 picks in order of preference:
1. Chartreuse Thé Vert Classic amincissant et diurétique
2. Corson Golden Pekoe
3. Bois Cheri Thé Vert Au Jasmin

I recommend the first one to any tea newbie because it is very subtle, everybody will like it or atleast will be okay drinking it.

Oh yeah, I hate spicy tea or flavoured tea or like chamomile or citronella and all stuff like that. Can't get used to these. I bought one tea from Forever Living products which I absolutely hated it, the smell was horrible.

♡ YSL Rouge Volupte in No. 7 Rose Lingerie

There's a little mirror on the top - very practical.

Swatching the No. 7  Rose Lingerie

Don't you freaking love the packaging?

I have been longing for one of these YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks forever since I saw so many beautiful pictures of it on Tumblr, Youtube etc. So I did wanted to buy one for myself but I hesitated because of the price, this is definitely the most expensive lipstick I own. Thanks to the lovely bf. Hi honey:) Yes, do I like it? I am in love with the packaging, it feels sturdy, expensive, and is so amazingly beautiful. My pictures don't make it any justice.

Except for the packaging, I have to say that I was disappointed with the texture and the quality of the lipstick. People are saying that these are a dream to put on, that they love the texture and stuff but I absolutely hate the texture of it. When I apply it on my lipstick, the texture is gritty, it feels really weird. I would compare the texture to a chapstick but softer. Plus, the lipstick doesn't go back down when you swivel the tube! WTF right? I actually felt it was a fake stuff, the quality feels like the fake stuff that you buy on ebay but it's not fake, it's the real thing. Sadly the real thing is just disappointing for me. Do you have the same problem?

As for colour, the No. 7 is a light mauve-pink colour which I love. It is very pigmented and has a slight sheen to it. But I feel that it is not super consistent in colour, so I always have to dab it in. Whenever I wear this lipstick, I feel so 'precious'. Haha It is such a beautiful colour. I could be slightly biased because it's a high-end lipstick but whatever, it is really pretty. If I wear this one out, I would just dot a little on the upper and lower lips, and blend it in. Then I get perfection. As for long-lastingness, I would compare it to Rimmel or Revlon lipsticks.

Do I recommend this?
It's hard to answer this. I do love the colour and the packaging but I hate the texture. I absolutely hate the texture. Gritty and super soft texture AND it does not go back down the tube. As much as I want to say "Yes, I recommend it", I can't because at the end of the day, this is a lipstick but it is just not worth money atleast for me. I like it as a luxury item plus it's bf's gift but not as a lipstick. haha

♡ Etude House AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser

Etude House AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser
"Etude House AC Clinic ACNE Foam Cleanser: Formulated with Salicylic Acid, Triclosan and Sandalwood Oil, Acne Foam Cleanser removes acne causing germs to keep your skin clean all day. Ideal for use as a makeup removal cleanser."

Months ago I was looking for a foamy cleanser with no little exfoliating stuff inside and I found this one on cosmetic-love.com. It retails for $13.29 for a 150ml tube which isn't too bad considering that it is REALLY foamy. The smell put me off the first few times I tried it but you get used to that medical-ish smell. It is basically a white thick smooth cream that foams with water. A little goes a long way. I used it with my clarisonic and I find it a little too drying because of the salicylic acid, so I used it only once a day. I can't say whether it is effective for acne but definitely did not aggravate mine. My face felt clean with this one.

I like this cleanser a lot, I would not say I like it as much as Forever Living Aloe Vera cleanser but definitely one I will consider buying again if I'm out of cleanser again.

Do I recommend it?
Yes if you like foamy cleanser with salicylic acid and don't mind the smell.

♡ Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
4 large eggs
200 g chocolate

Instructions
1. Melt the chocolate and allow to cool.
2. Separate the eggs white from the yolk. Beat the whites until they are fluffy.
3. Whisk the yolks and chocolate.
4. Fold the eggs whites in the mixture.
5. Put in cute little containers and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

This is a really easy recipe. My brother saw a recipe like that on tv and I was doubtful about it because the eggs are raw. Anyway, we tried. By we, I mean "I" did all the work. If you attempt this recipe, make sure the chocolate is cool before you start beating the whites because they will turn into a weird texture.

And yeah, you'll know the whites are done if nothing falls down if you turn your bowl upside down.

♡ Small Lookfantastic Haul + Review

I discovered this amazing website last December and I was sooo freaking excited because they sell the Naked 2 palette plus they offer free shipping worldwide. So, I seized this opportunity to get the holy grail of all palettes and a primer as well because I've never used one, so I thought I would give this one a try. I will reviewing these soon. I don't know if I should review the Naked 2 palette because there are so much online but whatever, we'll see right?:)

Murad Skin Perfecting Primer Acne And Shine Control (30ml) £19.99

Oh yeah, the website is lookfantastic.com. They sell a lot of brands that I'm longing to try like Nars, Benefit, etc but there are still country restrictions on these.

I do recommend this website. Free worldwide shipping. Ships to Mauritius.

Good shopping!

♡ Wishlist #5

Hi to all the people out there! It is 12:05 am and I'm browsing on Asos. I also purchased a black playsuit that has been in my 'Saved Items' list forever but today, I had to buy it because it was low in stock and it turned out to be the last one in my size. Yes, it is super late and you're wondering what I'm doing on the internet, well I'm hopelessly addicted to online shopping even if I don't buy. I'm just addicted to Asos. It's pretty sad. I'm going to stop. From now on, I will just do wishlist, it's fine right? I'm so sad and I'm so poor. Any wonderful rich soul here who loves giving gifts to anonymous people? Oh and yeah, I will be doing a huge Asos haul soon, probably at the end of February. I got this idea when I was watching hauls on Youtube. Damn, I love online shopping. Let's see what's on my wishlist.
