♡ Current beauty/makeup favorites

Lately my skin has been feeling so dry, flaky, oily, acne-prone, it's been crazy, so I thought I would try this Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion to solve my dry skin issue and it did the trick for me. I would apply this after cleansing my face. What I don't like about it is the scent and the texture, I wished it felt thicker. After moisturising my face, I apply this Murad Skin Perfecting Primer Acne And Shine Control. I've used this before and stopped because it made my face look drier but the thing this did a great job as a primer and plus I love that it contains salicylic acid to fight my acne. Another comeback is the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++  - No.23, I always love the texture of this bb cream, and it does not break me out though it may be a little lighter than my skin but nothing a bronzer can't solve. I've been loving this as my overall foundation and I would use Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation - Nude as a concealer only on my blemishes. And I can't go out without brows, now having dark hair, this Sigma Beauty Brow Powder Duo - Dark has been awesome! Finally for the eyes, I love bronze colors and this Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Kajal Eye Liner - Bronze is so easy and quick to apply.

Since I've got back to using Missha BB cream, I felt the need to use a bronzer everyday and I've been liking this one from Pixi Early Bird Kit (middle). The thing is I don't own any other bronzer and this palette is probably 3 years old now or more, I don't know, okay maybe two years but whatever, it works for me.

This Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains - Romantic has been with me for a long time, and oddly, I never talked about it on my blog. I think for me this is the best lip stain thingy. I love the staying/stain-ing power, the color, the texture, and the fresh minty smell. And FYI, this is better than these Rimmel ones.

Okay, we shall not forget the important makeup tools one should own, right? I love applying bb cream with the Sigma Beauty F80 Flat Kabuki, it's just applies so much faster and gives me better coverage and beautiful finish. Since I don't own any concealer brush, this Sigma Beauty E30 Pencil has been pretty useful, I would dab concealer on my blemishes with this and later use my ring finger in dabbing motion to blend it in. Do you recognise this third brush, it's from the original Naked palette or the 2? I don't know, but this is the only one I find useful, the two ended one is just horrible. I find applying the brow powder with the brush so quick and easy, I just need color in my brows, I don't need perfect shape though I would like that but I'm no brow expert sadly. Once I've applied the brow powder, I like going back in with a spoolie to make it more natural and this Sigma Beauty E80 Brow and Lash is great. For bronzer, I use the Sigma Beauty F40 Large Angled Contour, secretly I would like to own the Nars Kabuki Ita Brush but it's expensive and I can't find it online where the website would ship to here and yeah, I don't need it, I would just like to own it.

♡ My HG beauty products

Hi beautiful people out there - oh I have a mask on while I'm typing this. I'm using Freeman peel off mask in grapefruit, I think it's grapefruit, I'm not so sure but its pink and no, it's not one of my HG products, I'm just trying to finish it. I hate wasting products. I hate testing out new products because I fear that I'll end up hating them and not being able to use them. I just hate wasting money for nothing. So whenever I find a product that I love and my skin love, I'll continue buying them forever till they get discontinued or something. Oh and HG means holy grail products, the first time I read this term, I googled it - I'm saving you time. I hope I'll save you money with this post.

The Clarisonic Mia in Pink remains my number one beauty product and I don't think it's going to change ever. Personally, I would not be able to tell you if it has change the texture of my skin, I would rather say that it helps to get rid of acne faster because of the exfoliation and deep cleaning. I still break out mostly because of my horrible fatty diet and hormones of course. My boyfriend said that my skin looks better now, so maybe it's working.

I actually bought Bio-oil because so many people talked about how good it is for stretch marks and pregnant women use them for their belly and stuff. So I went on a whim and bought it, I applied it once *paused a second to think* Yes I applied this once on my thighs and back on my butt. I don't have the motivation to do it on a daily basis because I just wanna sit down you know and that oil transfers to everything. On the bottle, it said it helps for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin. Since the beginning of winter, my skin has been soooo freaking dry all the time even though I use the Clarisonic at night only and I've been looking for a hydrating cream or something to help with it, I got the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse but it was definitely not cutting it and one day, I just use the bio-oil on my face and my skin did not dried on during the day. It is so much more hydrating than the Nuxe one which is so much more expensive. The bio-oil smells hella good, it hydrates my skin, I don't know if it is helping for my scars or uneven skin tone though, maybe it will in the long run. Maybe and it has not broke me out. And it is cheap. Good and cheap, what else can you ask for? This is my hydrating cream. I don't use anything else.

Murad Skin Perfecting primer in Blemish and Shine control. This is a primer. This made me realise the meaning of a primer. I love it so much and it helps my foundation last all day. My foundation last all day and does not become blotchy anymore. Okay this is a primer, not a foundation. This gives zero coverage. It does neutralise a little bit of redness though. It is a tinted light cream but it is translucent once applied. No coverage. When I first read reviews on it, some people were saying that it was their holy grail foundation but then they had perfect skin. If you have perfect skin and no acne, this is for you and if you need coverage, it is not enough. I would say this is close to a tinted moisturiser. Another important point, it has salicylic acid it which I love and my skin love though it does dry out my skin. I have to hydrate my skin before applying the primer since this is not hydrating at all. I normally use the bio-oil first. Blemish control is good I think. Shine control, I don't know, I still blot 1-2 times per day.

I have already reviewed the Missha Perfect Cover BB cream, you can look for it. My skin loves it. It has such a smooth creamy texture. I don't mind the slightly grey color it gives me because it is very subtle and does warm up after some time. And my skin loves it. That is all I have to say.

The Sigma F80 kabuki brush is such a good investment, I have it since last November and it is still in perfect condition and still does the job perfectly. Applying foundation takes me less than one minute. This is the only brush I would definitely repurchase if I ever lose it.

The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I like it though I find myself only using 4-5 colors out of the whole palette. I wished I've gone for the original one because it's warmer colors. My go-to combination is YDK all over the lid and Tease in the crease and outer corner and for fancier day, I'll add Busted in the outer corner.

The Nivea Demaquillant Yeux Double Action. It is a eye-makeup remover. It is the kind that you have to shake before using. This is the only reason why I have started using mascara again. You know I always wondered why people would need different kind of makeup remover for their face and their eyes. Now I understand. Thanks to this, I don't spend minutes scrubbing my eyes with normal makeup remover. It's relatively cheap, paraben free and does the job. And it's cool to look at it.

My favourite cleanser of the moment is the Clearasil Daily Clear Daily Cleanser. It has salicylic acid in it, I love its smell, it's cheap, it does the job, it is a little bit drying but not dramatically drying and it comes with a pump. I love pumps.

Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel off mask is the best peel off mask I have ever used. Let me start by saying that I love peel off mask. I enjoy peeling them off and see how much dirt has come off my face. I think this one is the best I've come across so far and it is light brown color, so you can definitely see the dirt - I totally enjoy that. It takes off hairs too sometimes, I'm just giving you an indication on how good it is. It is cheap too. What sells me is the price and it does not break me out. And it dries up pretty fast too. I wished it sold in bigger tubes because I would get maximum 5 uses out of one tube like this one.

And finally, Caudalie Zeste de Vigne. The perfect citrus perfume ever. I love it so much. It's like a pick me up perfect, it is what I would imagine Clinique Happy to smell like (which does not). This is my favorite perfume ever.

This is pretty much it for now, I trying two other spot treatment product right now but I don't know if it is really effective on me. I'll share them later maybe if they are worth it. They are the Clinique Spot Treatment Gel and the Clearasil Rapid Action Treatment Cream. Both has salicylic acid as their main ingredient, though Clinique has a greater concentration and is more drying. I wanted to share my nail polishes too but I don't think they should be categorised as HG.

Note: Sorry for the pictures not being properly centered and so on, I have not edited either of them as well.

♡ November Favorites

Hi everyone! It's already December, time flies so quickly. I thought that I could start with a new monthly post like monthly favorites with products or anything that I've been liking during the month. That could a great way to share I guess :)

"Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Creme in 626 Cha Cha Cherry"

I've been wearing this one beautiful red-ish lipstick for this entire month. It makes me look awake *haha*. And I don't need to constantly reapply lipstick and by the way I hate reapplying lipstick. I love that it stains my lips a little so it feels like it last a long time. It is a matte moisturising cherry-red lipstick.

"Pink Clarisonic Mia"
I made a post here about the Clarisonic Mia. I've been loving it, I've used it regularly every day and night except last Saturday because I forgot to charge it. I've not seen major difference  yet except that my skin feel smooth even if I have pimples and no flakiness at all. I am breaking out (not in a crazy way) but I think it's because of my food intake rather than the Clarisonic, I've been having fat-foods craving this past week:( Won't happen again I hope.
